Arctic fox (Vulpes lagopus) summer coat brown. Svalbard, Norway

While waiting to board the expedition ship in search of polar bears (ursus maritimus), I went out looking for local arctic fox (Vulpes lagopus). This one was very curious and came quite close to me. In summer, they grow a coat that turns brown along the back, with light grey around the abdomen. Svalbard, Norway
